Caroline H. Le was born and raised in San Jose, California.

After earning a BA in radio, television, and film from San Jose State University, Caroline was accepted into a graduate program in Boston, Massachusetts.

She is currently earning a MA in visual and media art at Emerson College.

Over the past three years, Caroline has directed and produced several short narratives and documentaries including Things I'll Never Say (2005), an exploration of the perplexity of Asian American teen angst and love triangles. Her credits also include co-producing Out at the Library: Queer Youth Speak (2005), talent and camera on the San Jose State University reality show, Making It Right: One Episode at a Time (2005), grip production assistant and supporting cast member on Fiona's Script (2009) for Mynah Films, and directing and producing Tôi Là: I Am (2006) and Too Much Plaid (2008).

Caroline is presently working on a short dramatic narrative, La Petite Salon (2009). The film captures a day in the life of Mai Ly, a Vietnamese mother whose rigid expectations threaten her relationship with her queer adolescent daughter, Quynh. The film deals with universal human complexities and the struggles of Vietnamese Americans who attempt to negotiate between dual cultural identities.
